Location of Koh Samed is in Rayong, a town far from Bankok
around 300 km that can be reach by bus taxi or rented car if you wish. Island
shape like triangle has many Bay around the island.
It’s popular on east side of bay. Example Saikaew Beach and
Wongduen bay also has a lot restaurant resort
and club. And if you love quite to enjoy the sound of nature we recommend on
other side.
How to reach Koh Samed?
1.Personal car or rented car.
- drive
along Pattaya motorway but take left
turn to Rayong-Klang not turn right into Pattaya.Drive on until pass Wat
Tapong then drive along beach until
reach Ban Phe pier. Do not worry about car park, there are a safe parking lot
that cost you 100 per night.

Van
From Victory monument in Bankok

Pier to Koh Samed
There
are many pier at Ban Phe to decide depend on your convenient at same cost around
100 bath per person.First pier is Sribanpe pier next Choke Grissada pier, Sapanmai pier, Nuantip pier and last
pier is Ban Phe local government pier that operate 2 hrs. Usually took 40 min to arrive Koh Samed.

Traveling on Koh Samed
The
most easiest way is contact resort to pick you up. If you love more adventurous,
dirt bike and quad bike is a choice and I recommend
this because I’ve experienced, Almost road around Samed was dirt road. It’s so much fun
just you ride dirt bike around island and
cruise for good air and view.
Activities

bar at Saikaew beach and Phai bay
- Squid
fishing is a popular activity at night start at 6 pm return at 12pm cost is 500
per person.
- Kayaking
on many beach 150 bath per hour.
- Wacthing sunset. Stroll with lover and watching the most sunset point at along
Phroa bay
- Many
activities you can do here. snorkeling, motor biking, camping, massaging,Banana boat, beach party, and fire
baton wielding show.
Travel duration
You
can visit Koh Samed all year but have to
check for forecast for storm in rainy season around May to September.
Koh Samed is the heaven for
relaxing, not far from Bakkok but still constant of nature, not to much crowded.
Not surprising why Koh Samed made visiter charmed.
